To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Nike’s Air Max Plus, the brainchild of Sean McDowell, Nike has dropped a celebratory colorway.

Aptly dubbed the Nike Air Max Plus “25th Anniversary”, the pair features a mismatched colorway and boasts wavy TPU overlays inspired by the gentle sway of palm trees. The right pair sports a purple gradient, and the left shoe is dipped in a blue gradient. The celebratory pair additionally boasts Nike’s Tuned Air system utilized with two polymer hemispheres to ensure a smooth run. Rounding out the final design cues are the yellow “TN” logos and a visible Air unit.
