Joe Freshgoods

Chicago’s Joe Freshgoods is set to expand his partnership with New Balance, unveiling a fresh collaboration for the Holiday 2023 season—the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v4 Made in USA.
Freshgoods introduced the 990v4 himself, drawing inspiration from the iconic XXL photoshoot that featured DMX, Jay-Z, and Ja Rule, members of the short-lived hip-hop supergroup Murder Inc. The color palette for the 990v4 is a harmonious blend of Blacks, Whites, and Greys.
This iteration takes a departure from Freshgoods’ previous collaborations, embracing a monochromatic theme. The shoe’s construction incorporates a mix of mesh, suede, and leather materials. Noteworthy is the JFG branding on the lateral heel, replacing the customary 990 logo. Atop, the design is sealed with the brand’s signature ENCAP midsole.
Set to release on December 22, 2023, the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v4 Made in USA “1998” will be available on Joe Freshgood’s website and New Balance.com. The retail price tag is set at $250 USD.
In summary, Chicago’s Joe Freshgoods is teaming up with New Balance for a stylish 990v4 Made in USA collaboration, drawing inspiration from a legendary hip-hop photoshoot. This monochromatic shoe boasts a mix of materials and unique branding, set to hit the market during the upcoming holiday season. Stay tuned for the retail price announcement, and make sure to snag a pair through Joe Freshgoods’ website or New Balance.com.
